Hey everyone! Today I indulged in a bit of retail therapy…which was very spontaneous! My sister had bought the most beautiful dress from Kookai last week and I HAD to have one of my own. I did a bit of sleuthing and tracked one down in Collins st. Its the ‘Kade’ dress in black and is made from a scuba fabric. Kookai have had a sale recently, which is 50 percent off selected stock. The dress was marked down from $180 to $90. Score!
The dress has a high neckline, a fitted body and the bottom flares out. It’s extremely flattering and is a classic ‘LBD’.

Whilst I was there, I also bought a long sleeved top and a long skirt, both made from merino wool. I thought it would be perfect for Melbourne’s colder months ahead, and they were both half price too.
I also picked up a couple of books as I’m a total bookworm.
The first is a VC Andrews book called ‘Roxy’s story’. In high school I got addicted to her books after reading ‘Flowers in the Attic’ (it changed my life). I have read practically all of her books, but haven’t really in the last few years. Hopefully this one is a good read!
The other is written by Mary Coustas. If you didn’t know, she played Effie in Acropolis Now which was a popular ethnic show years ago. Mary has been through many ups and downs in her life and I’m really looking forward to hearing her story.
That’s my Sunday shopping day! Did you get up to much this weekend?
