A friend recently gave me a lipstick that she had purchased but decided was not really her colour. The lipstick is by Too Faced and it’s called ‘Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick’, in the shade ‘Melted Coral’. It’s a very vibrant coral/tangerine colour and is extremely pigmented.
The texture is lightweight and has a mousse like consistency. It’s very similar to the Lime Crimes Velvetine lipsticks actually. However, this lipstick is creamier in texture and more pigmented.
It features a sponge tip applicator, which is meant to be used in lieu of a brush. It’s a good idea but I don’t like to apply this directly to my lips. I much prefer to squeeze some onto my hand first and then apply it with a lipstick brush. This makes for a more precise application, in my opinion.
You can see how pigmented it is in the above photo. This is only one small swipe.
This photo is a true representation of the colour.
I believe there are three colours in this range: Melted Coral, a hot fuchsia shade and a neutral shade.
