I found out about the Josie Maran range when I was travelling in New York a couple of years back. I remember Josie Maran as a model years ago (I think for Maybelline) so I was familiar with her name. I picked up a holiday kit from Sephora, which contained miniature versions of her skincare range, all made from her signature Argan Oil. I really loved her products, so when I was overseas last year, I picked up the Josie Maran Argan Infinity Cream Intensive Creamy Oil.
This is marketed as a multi-purpose cream and can be used in a variety of ways. From chapped lips to dry skin and everything in between, this promises to soothe and smooth, while providing the skin with an illuminating glow.
The consistency is unique. It’s similar to Vaseline, however much more creamier and light. It’s quite soft when squeezed out of the tube and seems to melt into the skin. It doesn’t leave a sticky residue behind, which is a bonus. It also has an amazing smell- similar to citrus.
Squeezed out of the tube.
And blended out.
My absolute favourite way to use this oil is to apply it to my cheekbones as an illuminator. It looks really beautiful and adds a healthy glow to the skin. I also like applying it to my face at night, for some extra moisture. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin at all, and doesn’t break me out. When I wake in the morning, my skin feels more moisturised and has a lovely sheen.
I really wish Josie Maran products were available in Australia. I believe her range has now been extended to include makeup too. Hopefully I’ll be able to pick up some products when I go overseas next.
Have you tried any products from the Josie Maran range?
