September’s Bellabox was an interesting mix of products. As you know, Bellabox have a theme each month- this month was ‘Beauty Wardrobe’ with Gritty Pretty who I believe is a beauty blogger. There was a change with the packaging too. The products normally come in a cute blue box, however this time they were simply placed in the cardboard packaging. This didn’t really bother me; I already have three empty blue boxes so it was nice not to have another box cluttering up my bathroom bench! Without further ado, let’s get to the products!
I received the following:
Sleek Eye Dust in ‘Spellbound’.
Toni & Guy Heat Protection Mist’.
1000Hour Fashion Lashes.
1000Hour Nails Foils.
Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes (sample size, 7 towelettes).
Samples of Revlon Colorstay Makeup in ‘Natural Beige’ and Garnier 5 sec Perfect Blur.
The 1000Hour Fashion Lashes in ‘Pin Up’.
The 1000Hour Nails Foils.
Sleek Eye Dust in ‘Spellbound’. The left is applied heavily; the right is applied lightly.
I’m overall pretty happy with this months’ selections. I’m most likely to use the hair mist and the eye dust, and plan to use the towelettes for travel. I’ve only tested out the eye dust on my hand, however I can already tell it’s wonderfully pigmented. I can’t wait to use this for a smoky eye look.
The lashes are nice however they seem a tad dramatic for me, as I prefer a more natural look. However, I’ll definitely try them out. The nail foils are an interesting concept; I’ve never heard of nail foils before. I might pass these onto a friend, as they aren’t really my style. The samples will come in handy, as I always like trying out new products.
