Hope you’re all enjoying the weekend…it was voting day here on Saturday so I thought I’d get in early. The lines were huge at 8:30 this morning; I guess everyone had the same idea as me. Next time I think I’ll just sleep in..
I picked up a few gifts from Myer on Friday, and naturally I got myself one too. It’s the Nude by Nature ‘Blush for Cover’ pack which contains ‘Mineral Cover’, ‘Liquid Mineral Concealer’, ‘Limited Edition Cream Blush’ and ‘Limited Edition Mineral Brush’. I only ever used one product from Nude, which is the primer. It’s probably one of the best primers I’ve ever used and really makes a difference to the longevity of my makeup. Myer had a promotion on, so if you spent $60 or more you received a free pack containing the ‘Mineral Bronzer’ bronzer, ‘Body Glow Lotion’, a Kabuki brush and a makeup bag. I won’t lie; I love gift with purchases and always end up buying more than I need just to receive it.

So far I’ve used the Liquid Mineral Concealer, the Limited Edition Cream Blush and the Body Glow Lotion. The concealer is great; it has a medium coverage and covers up my blemishes well. It’s also light enough to conceal dark eye circles. The blush is beautiful; it’s a very natural pinky shade and would suit most skin shades. I also like the cream formula, as its easy to apply and fuss free. This could also be used as a lip tint. You gotta love a multi use product!
The blush. It’s got a pinky/coral tone. It reminds me of a lighter version of ‘Orgasm’ by NARS.
The Body Glow Lotion wasn’t what I was expecting. You’d think that I’d get the hint from the name…I used it to moisturise my skin and later realised I was coated in shimmer from top to toe. It’s definitely a very shimmery shade so it’s best used at night.
I’m yet to try the other products, and when I do I’ll put up some reviews.
Have you tried anything from the Nude by Nature range?
