Greetings from cold, wet yet humid Melbourne!
We’ve experienced it all this week; extreme heat, heavy rain, humidity and mist. It sure makes dressing in the morning challenging! Does anyone else live in a place where the weather changes frequently?
In other news, I’ve recently jumped on the Aldi bandwagon. While I was there recently, I came across the ‘Natural Skin’ range by Lacura. The range includes products for face, body and skin, and they all contain organic Argan oil. I was in need of a cleanser, so I picked up the Facial Cleansing Mousse and the Cleansing Wipes. Both products claim that 95% of the ingredients are from natural origin and are free from parabens, silicones, colourants and mineral oils. Sounds good to me!
The Facial Cleansing Mousse.
Review of the Facial Cleansing Mousse: I really like the formula of this, as it leaves my skin cleansed and soft. It isn’t too harsh on my skin, so my skin doesn’t feel stripped of moisture. This is a lightweight cleanser so I prefer to use this after my pre-cleanse. I normally wash my face in the shower with a heavier cleanser, as I like to get the makeup and grime off my face. I then take one pump of the Facial Cleansing Mousse and cleanse my face a second time, just to ensure my face is completely clean. This is a great product if you don’t tend to wear heavy makeup and are after a light cleanse.
The Cleansing Wipes.
Review of the Cleansing Wipes: I think everyone needs a pack of cleansing wipes in their bathroom, for those nights when you’re just too tired to wash your face! I only ever use wipes if I’m wearing very little makeup, as if I don’t wash my face properly I’ll wake up with new blemishes. These wipes are great; the formula is light and leave the skin feeling very soft. It also contains chamomile, which is great for calming the skin. I am not sure how well the wipes remove heavy makeup; I’ll report back on that. If you’re after basic yet effective wipes, these are perfect.
The range also includes a hair masque treatment, which I’ve heard is quite good. I might pick one up next time I’m at Aldi.
Have you tried anything from this range?
