I recently ran out of my favourite mascara by Too Faced, so I’ve been alternating between the Maybelline’s the Falsies mascara and Elizabeth Mott’s It’s So Big mascara. Both are really good for evenly coating and lengthening the lashes. I find that the It’s So Big mascara gives more of a natural finish whereas the Falsies mascara gives more of a dramatic look.
‘The Falsies’ mascara by Maybelline.
The Falsies mascara features a soft, bendable brush, with a curved design to reach each lash. The brush itself is full bristled, which is great for coating the lashes evenly. The formula is non-clumpy and smooth; the brush glides through the lashes evenly and doesn’t pull or tug.
Review of ‘the Falsies’ mascara: I really love this mascara. It’s got a great brush design and the formula is smooth; it does not clump my lashes together. I applied a few light coats to my lashes and it did not clump or turn the lashes into a sticky mess. I couldn’t believe how well the brush glided through the lashes, evenly coating each lash. The brush is able to grab those finer lashes near the inner corners of the eyes, due to the design. I also coated my bottom lashes and I liked how it did not make them look too fake or overdone; my bottom lashes are long and sometimes can look a bit ‘fake’ if I apply mascara to them.
The ‘It’s So Big’ mascara by Elizabeth Mott.
The Elizabeth Mott It’s So Big mascara features a small bristled brush, which is perfect for coating each lash. The formula is great; it’s non clumpy and glides through the lashes perfectly.
Review of the ‘It’s So Big’ mascara: I really like the formula of this mascara. It’s silky smooth when you run the brush through your lashes, and it does not clump in any way. This mascara is great if you want to elongate the lashes; I found that it did not really add volume to my lashes. I think this is a great everyday mascara as it looks really natural on the lashes.
