If you live in Melbourne there’s a good chance you’ve heard of or been to the Queen Victoria Night Market. It’s on every Wednesday night from November through to March and has an incredible array of things on offer! There’s an incredible range of street food from all over the globe, designers selling unique and handmade products and plenty of entertainment. It’s totally worth going to, but just be mindful that it gets incredibly busy, especially around 7pm. The crowds can be a battle to get through!
My fiancé had a souvlaki from this stall.
And seafood paella for me!
It was amazing!
We also had one of those curly potatoes on a stick; I don’t know the proper name for it but it was so good! The lines were incredibly long, which is always a good sign.
After browsing the stalls I came across a little stand called the Coconut Revolution. Needless to say, I was intrigued so over I went.
They had products for the skin, kitchen, body and hair, all made from organic coconut oil. I purchased the ‘Organic Coconut Oil Beauty’ in the 200ml size. This product is specifically for the face/skin so I plan to use this as a night moisturiser and as a makeup remover. The man working there was also kind enough to give me some samples; the Coconut Hand Cream and the Coconut Body Butter. I can’t wait to try these out; the scent alone is to die for!
Have you been to the Night Market?
