I’m currently one week into my European adventure and am having a wonderful time! So far I’ve visited Athens, Santorini and Crete, and our next stop is Paris! I plan to blog about each place separately when I get back home, but for now I thought I’d just provide a quick update and some photos. This is my first time in Greece and so far I have loved it.
Athens was really interesting and we did a lot of sightseeing. The ancient ruins were so interesting and we spent hours walking around the Acropolis and the ruins.
Outside the Greek Parliament House. This soldier was so tall!
Santorini was perfect; I don’t think I have anything bad to say about it! We did a lot of eating, walking and even took a boat around the Caldera. I also had a run in with a donkey, which has left me mentally scarred!
Outside my favourite cafe in Santorini called Galini.
The view from Galini cafe, Santorini.
The donkeys in Santorini.
I’m in Crete at the moment, and while it has been a pretty good experience so far, i haven’t enjoyed it as much as Athens and Santorini.
Next stop is Paris, and I’m looking forward to the food and the sightseeing.
Until next time!
