September Bellabox!

Springtime is the perfect season to shake off the last of the winter blues and embrace a fresher, lighter approach to life! It’s the time to springclean not only our homes but also our lives, be it a makeover, a new wardrobe or just a general overhaul of our way of thinking. So it was very fitting that the September issue of Bellabox had a Spring inspired ‘Beauty Reboot’ theme. All of the products included are reminicient of a fresh and fun mindset, so it’s time to cull those heavy winter products and bring on the fresh spring inspired products!

Here is what I received:

Jurlique Purely Age-Defying Firming Treatment Mask. This is a ‘regenerative and restorative paper mask for face and neck’ and is marketed as an anti- ageing treatment. It claims to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles whilst restoring skin firmness and radiance. Bellabox announced that each member would receive one of these masks in their box and I am really excited to try it out. I plan to use this on my next home spa treatment night. Recently I’ve really been into face masks. My skin has been quite dull and dry lately, due to the harsh weather, and I find that using a face mask is great for restoring a natural glow back to my skin. I find that I don’t need to wear as much makeup after I’ve applied one, as they leave the skin with a beautiful glow.

The Red Earth Australia Lip Nectar Intensive Therapy Lip Salvation.

Red Earth Australia Lip Nectar Intensive Therapy Lip Salvation. This lip treatment is designed to combat dry flaky skin and leave lips soft and smooth. I received this in the shade ‘Cherry’ which is a beautiful soft red colour. I like lip products that protect against dryness, so I will definitely be using this one. Red Earth was a really popular brand years ago; my sister and I used to love their products. I’ve tested this out and I really love how moisturising it is. I prefer lip balms with a thick texture, as they coat and protect the lips from the elements. This lip treatment ticks all of the boxes.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. This is a cleansing water which is designed to remove makeup and impurities from the skin. I have actually purchased this product in the past and found this to be great at removing makeup and dirt from the face quickly and efficiently. I love the travel size- it will be great for my next trip. I like using this cleanser when I have worn minimal makeup for the day. If I wear heavier makeup, I would cleanse with a heavier duty cleaner first and follow up with this cleansing water.

Paula’s Choice Clinical KP Treatment Cloths. These treatment cloths contain salicylic and lactic acid and are used to eliminate red bumps on the arms and legs, and also visibly remove redness. I’ve heard of Paula’s Choice but have never purchased a product. To be honest, I don’t really suffer from red bumps, but I do get ingrowns so I might use these cloths for that purpose. The formula of these cloths are quite strong smelling, so I can imagine they would be quite effective.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel. This is a water based gel designed to hydrate and plump the skin. I think I’ve received this product before from Bellabox, so I’ll add this to my odds and ends basket of skincare samples.

Bonus: Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formnula with Vitamin E. A sample size of the famous body butter. I am a fan of this range and will be using this up.

I am really happy with this month’s Bellabox. The majority of the products included are products I’ve never tried before so I am looking forward to testing them out.

What did you receive in your September Bellabox?
