Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to you all! I hope you all had a wonderful day, and spent time with family and friends, eating copious amounts of food! Here in Australia, our Christmas is always hot as it falls during summer and this year was no exception. I do love a warm Christmas but I’ve always wanted to experience a snowy white Christmas. There’s something about spending Christmas Eve around the fireplace, sipping eggnog in knitted snowflake jumpers that just sounds so appealing (or am I watching too many Hallmark movies?) Anyway, Christmas in wintertime is definitely on my bucket list (knitted jumpers included).

I felt like dressing up on Christmas Day, so after a few outfit changes I finally decided on the above dress. I bought this dress about six years ago and still love it. It’s light and perfect for summertime.

Of course, Christmas isn’t complete with some totally indulgent gifts.

The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons.

I kicked off the season of giving by buying myself a new novel called ‘The Bronze Horseman’. I’d heard of this book before but never paid it too much attention until I stumbled upon it in Dymocks last week. It’s a love story set in Russia during World War 2, and sounds very intriguing. It’s part of a series, and there’s nothing I love more than a book series. I just love knowing what comes next.

Tanya Burr rosy flush cheek palette, a sticky notes set, Zoella wonder hand cream, the face shop Santa Claus mask and Ballerina Chic nail lacquer set by O.P.I.

I also received some new makeup, nail polish, stationery and some candles. The Santa Claus above is a fun face mask. Can’t wait to use this (thanks to my friend Dani)!

Ballerina Chic by O.P.I.

I absolutely love this nail polish set. It’s called Ballerina Chic by O.P.I. and includes four mini nail lacquers: Mod About You, Aphrodite’s Pink Nightie, Lucky Lucky Lavender and Shorts Story. All shades are pink and perfect for everyday wear.

How was your Christmas?
