Beauty Additions #1

Theoretically, it should be beauty additions #486 or some ridiculous number, but we’ll just start at the very beginning (just like Friar Maria sang to the Von Trappe kids).

I recently picked up some products that I was in need of. All of these products were heavily discounted, thanks to a friend who is a beauty insider (who shall remain in my clutches forever).

I picked up the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Gel with pump, Clinique Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser, MAC Zoom Lash Mascara Volume and Aveda Rosemary Mint shampoo

I’ve used the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising on and off for years and I always come back to it. It’s a fuss- free moisturiser and my skin just seems to drink it up.

The Clinique Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser was a spontaneous purchase. I did need a new cleanser but couldn’t decide on which one to get. I’d used this one years ago when I received it as a sample and I remember really liking it. I’m so happy I bought it, as it cleans the face so well and a little goes a long way; all you need is the tiniest amount for it to lather.

The MAC Zoom Lash Mascara Volume. It’s really good for separating lashes.

This is my first MAC mascara, believe it or not. My sample tube of the Lancôme mascara had just dried up so I was on the hunt for a new one. Enter MAC. I used this mascara last night and it gives the lashes incredible length and definition.

To be honest, I didn’t really need a new shampoo. But for the price, I just couldn’t pass up the Aveda Rosemary Mint shampoo. This shampoo really clarifies my hair and smells incredible too. My hair tends to get used to shampoos if I use the same one too often, so I always need to switch them up.

Have you bought any makeup recently?
