Melbourne Central and the Emporium held a shopping day yesterday, with many stores participating in special discounts and offers. I didn’t really need anything and declined my friend’s offer of meeting for a spot of shopping and drinks. Well, it seems like part of me had other ideas, because somehow I found myself at Melbourne Central after work, at Lush to be specific. Whoops. Lush didn’t have any discounts or sales that day but that didn’t stop me did it? No siree.
I had a wander around the store and ultimately decided to add to my bubble bath collection. This is what I picked up:

A French Kiss bubble bar
Twilight shower gel
Phoenix Rising bath bomb.
Floating Island Melt.
The A French Kiss bubble bar, Twilight shower gel and Phoenix Rising bath bomb was part of the Relax gift pack, which encourages us to take a moment to ourselves with a selection of relaxing and reassuring products. I had been dying to try the A French Kiss bubble bar; it’s so pretty and has the most amazing lavender scent. The Twilight shower gel has a calming lavender smell; I used to be a huge Twilight fan (team Edward Cullen) so I suppose this may have influenced my decision too…
I love the swirl of colours in The Phoenix Rising bath bomb, and it also contains gold glitter so obviously I love it.

The bath melt is a new product at Lush and it smells soo good! It comes in a few different scents and the one I bought smells like cocoa butter- yummy! The salesgirl explained how it works- you drop it into your bath and it melts, leaving the water moisturised and creamy. I can’t wait to try this out.
I think I’ll use the French Kiss bubble bar and the Floating Island melt tomorrow night- it’s been a long week and I can’t wait to sink underneath all of those bubbles!
