theme was ‘Kiss Me. Put on some lipstick and live a little’. It was just the
thing to pull me out of my week long slump. Sometimes the daily grind can wear
you down so it’s important to leave room for some downtime. Opening my Bellabox
is always fun, because it feels like a gift from me, to me!
These are the latest craze in makeup and it’s easy to see why. Jelly lipsticks
apply clear to the lips, then work with your body temperature to create a
beautiful, long wearing tint. I received this in the number 3, and it
transforms into a gorgeous medium pink shade. When I received this I applied it
right away, not knowing that it would change colour. When I peeked in the
mirror I was so surprised to find my lips a deep pink! Luckily it suited me
quite well and it really is long wearing; I ate and drank and it stayed on
throughout. There are about four or five shades in this range so there’s bound
to be a shade that suits everyone. This was my favourite item in the box this
month, and it’s a product that I will definitely use.
Instinct Eye Creme. This eye creme helps with banishing dark circles, wrinkles and
puffiness. I was after an eye cream for the longest time but there are so many
to choose from that it’s gets a little confusing. I like the sound of the
cream, and it also helps that it’s completely vegan, PH balanced, cruelty free
and Australian made. It’s a good feeling knowing that your skincare didn’t
affect fluffy bunnies!
100% Coconut Facial Wipes. These wipes are soaked with organic coconut oil and cleanse, tone
and hydrate the skin. When I saw these in my box I was pretty much sold;
it’s no secret that I love anything coconut. There’s not much else to say about
these wipes; they look awesome and I can’t wait to try them out.
Skin Goddess CC Creme SPF30+. This colour correcting cream promises to perfect, correct and
protect the skin. It can be used as a base under your foundation or on its own
for a lightweight coverage. I’ve sampled a few of Avon’s products through
Bellabox and I have honestly loved each one. The quality of Avon is fantastic,
especially for the price tag so it’s worth having a look if you’re after some
affordable, high quality makeup.
Anti-Dry Derma-Soft Wash Emulsion. Sebamed is that type of skincare range that you just know will
work on your skin, similar to QV and Cetaphil. Their products balance the PH
levels of your skin and will leave your skin smooth and supple. I’ll pack this
with me on my next trip and try it out then.
Oil Infusions Body Moisturiser. This is a new product line from Palmolive that incorporates oils
to provide deep hydration and a light fragrance. I received my sample in the
Citrus with Jojoba scent and am really impressed with how smooth it left my
skin. It has quite a strong scent for a moisturiser so if you prefer something
a bit lighter or fresher smelling this probably wouldn’t be the moisturiser for
you. It is easily absorbed so it’s a great daily moisturiser (I hate
moisturisers that leave the skin damp). I’d be interested to see what other
scents Palmolive have.
