BEAUTY EDIT: September 2016 Product Round Up

I’ve been trying out a whole range of new products over the last few months so I decided to start a monthly products post. Because I tend to stick to the same makeup routine every day, lately I’ve been trying to mix it up and use more of my collection, otherwise I’d never get through all my products.

Today I’ll be rounding up the products I used throughout September and whether or not I’d repurchase them.

Organic Spa Day Moisture with 84% certified organic ingredients. This has been one of my favourite moisturisers of all time, and I’ve been reaching for it over my beloved Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturing Gel. Seeing as it’s still so cold in Melbourne, my skin has been drier than usual and I find that this moisturiser has really saved my skin. Even though it’s a day cream, I’ve been using it day and night and my skin feels so hydrated and moist. I use two pumps as I like my skin to feel really moist, especially at night.

Repurchase? Yes.

Goat Moisturising Shampoo in Lemon Myrtle. I’ve only recently delved into the Goat Milk products and this shampoo is my favourite so far. It cleans the hair well and leaves it with lots of natural volume. I’d say this shampoo would work best on oilier hair; it may be slightly drying on drier hair types.

Repurchase? Yes.

MooGoo Skin Milk Udder Cream. This was part of the MooGoo travel pack containing four of their essential products. I wasn’t expecting much from this moisturiser but I was proven wrong. It honestly keeps the skin moisturised for hours, even on my legs which are often really dry. It’s also simple to apply and absorbs very quickly into the skin. The only thing I’m not a huge fan of is its milky scent however this is just a personal preference.

Repurchase? Yes, because it’s a great everyday body moisturiser.

Benefit Gimme Brow. It’s no secret that I love this brow product and have used it every single day since I got it. It’s the easiest brow product to use because you simply swipe it over the brows to make them look fuller and polished. I gave it in the shade 03 for reference and my brows are a medium to dark brown.

Repurchase? Yes, in a heartbeat.

MAC Zoom Lash mascara in Zoomblack. I bought this a few months ago and only started using it recently, as my other mascara had run out. It’s a great mascara for dramatic lashes, and in saying that it’s perfect for nighttime. I have been wearing it during the day and it’s slightly too bold for the broad daylight. It’s also slightly clumpy and smudges under my eyes after a few hours of wear, but it does make my lashes look super long.

Repurchase? Probably not. It’s a decent mascara but I’d rather try out something new.

Dusty Girls Natural Tinted Earth Cream in the shade Light. I’ve been wearing this tinted cream on the weekends and it provides a nice, natural coverage. It takes a while to rub the cream into the skin but once absorbed, it looks like you aren’t wearing makeup. The Light shade is slightly too pale for my skintone, so I’d choose it in the Medium shade next time.

Repurchase? Yes, in a different shade.

Rasasara Skinfood Pitta Hydrating Mist with Rosewater and Jasmine. This was part of my Bellabox and I’ve been spraying it everyday to set my makeup and freshen up my skin. I was wanting a face mist for the longest time and this was a great one to try out. It leaves the skin dewy and hydrated, and has a beautiful rose scent. While I really like it, I’d be interested to try out a mist from another brand.

Repurchase? Not at the moment.

Thanks for reading!
