#IPledgeToCheck with QV Skincare

Today’s post
is beauty related with a serious touch. I was recently lucky enough to work
with QV Skincare to promote the release of their innovative QV Self Check Breast
Cream
.
This was a collaboration between QV Skincare and the McGrath
foundation, and the idea behind it is to encourage women to check their breasts
by making it a part of their everyday beauty routine. The Breast Cream acts as
a tool to become familiar with your breasts and to check for any lumps or
changes to the breast area. Early detection plays a crucial part in fighting
breast cancer so it’s incredibly important to familiarise yourself with your
breasts!

The Breast
Cream itself is very moisturing and gentle on the skin, which is important for
the delicate breast area. It’s absorbed quickly into the skin so you won’t have
that wet feeling after application. I’ve used a few products from the QV
Skincare range over the years and it’s one of those great, everyday brands that
have a mild formula to suit all skin types as well as providing really great
moisture to the skin. The box includes a how-to guide on self checking your
breasts which is really detailed and lets you know exactly how it’s done. Plus,
who can resist the pretty pink packaging
?

I was so
happy to be a part of this great campaign and to help spread the word on breast
cancer awareness. There’s a special hashtag trending on Instagram that’s called
#IPledgeToCheck, so make sure you check it out and become part of the movement!
As a bonus, QV Skincare will be donating $2 from the purchase of each tube of
Self Check Breast Cream to the McGrath foundation, which goes towards the
national breast awareness initiative Curve Lurve and the funding of the McGrath
Breast Care Nurses who provide support to families going through breast cancer.

Please help
us to spread the word on this great initiative by QV Skincare and the McGrath
foundation!
