Korres is an
Athens based skincare company who base their products on traditional remedies
using natural active ingredients. Just take a look at some of the product
names: Avocado Intense Nourishing Mask, Cooling After Sun Face & Body
Yoghurt, Wild Rose Brightening Powder: all products contain natural fruit and
herb ingredients and sound good enough to eat! I’ve used a few Korres products
over the years, including the popular Wild Rose range that was all over the
blogging world a few years ago. While in Mecca over the weekend, I came across
a travel sized tube of the Santorini Vine Moisturising Body Milk and decided to
try it out.
Vine Moisturising Body Milk is described as a fresh, fruity scent of blossoming
Greek vineyards and is part of the Korres Santorini range. I opened up this
moisturiser not expecting much but I was blown away by the beautiful scent. It
truly does smell like a sun ripened vineyard, and has a delicate, sweet scent
which isn’t overpowering at all. The formula is very light, as it is a body
milk so it’s a great moisturiser for the warmer months. In saying that, I
probably wouldn’t reach for it if my skin is really dry or when I’m after deep
hydration, just because it has quite a light formula. I think it would work
really well during summer as it is easily absorbed and doesn’t leave any
residue on the skin after application. It also provides a soft scent that
lingers after application.
interested in trying out some more Korres products, and have my eye on the
Almond and Linseed Hair Mask next.
Korres can be
purchased at Mecca
