October Bellabox

It’s official: Spring Racing Carnival fever has hit Melbourne. Even if you don’t attend the race days, it’s hard not to get caught up in the excitement of fashion, facinators and who’ll make the worst best  dressed list. Bellabox got in on the action and designed the perfect essentials kit for every girl. Here’s what was included:

St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse in Classic + mitt. As the name suggests, this is the original tanning Mousse by St. Tropez. I’m a long time user of St. Tropez and swear by them for the ultimate streak free, natural looking tan. They are a little more pricy than other brands but you just can’t beat the quality (and knowing I won’t turn orange is another major drawcard obviously!). I have used the classic tanning mousse in the past and it gives a very light, believable tan so this will definitely come in handy. Its small size also makes it perfect for travel.

Shanghai Suzie Lipstick in Mrs French Winter Maroon. Shanghai Suzie is an Autralian made line of lipsticks that are known for their trendy, unique shades. I received the shade Winter Maroon and it’s a beautiful plum red, which would be perfect for Christmas. I swiped some on my hand and the texture is buttery soft and so pigmented- love!

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Blush. Dry shampoo has just exploded in the beauty world hasn’t it? It is the perfect product (and probably the only product you’ll need) to pack into your handbag for hair touch ups. Batiste have so many scent variations of their dry shampoo; Blush is a light floral scent, perfect for freshening up hair and leaving it smelling clean and fresh.

Neon & Co. Leave in Ampoule Shot. This is a leave in treatment designed to soften the hair and add hydration. I’ve tried a couple of products from Neon & Co and find them to be really effective for adding moisture to the hair.

Cetaphil Daily Advance Ultra Hydrating Lotion. Cetaphil are known for their fragrance free, non great and non clogging skincare products and this lotion is no different. It can be used on both the face and body and is great for keeping the skin soft and supple. I believe Cetaphil is one of those brands that work on just about everyone, regardless of your skin condition. I’ll be using this as a hand cream.

From left: Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse in Classic, Cetaphil Daily Advance Ultra Hydrating Lotion, Neon & Co. Leave in Ampoule Shot, Shanghai Suzie Lipstick in Mrs French Winter Maroon, Batiste Dry Shampoo in Blush, Dermal Therapy Heel Balm (St.Tropez tanning mitt underneath).

Bonus: Dermal Therapy Heel Balm. This is a concentrated formula designed to bind moisture to the skin and repair dry, cracked heels in just days. I personally love foot creams, especially during the warmer months when feet tend to be on show, and Dermal Therapy are a fantastic brand for keeping feet soft and moisturised. I apply foot cream just before I hop into bed, so it can work its magic while I sleep.

Bonus: Virgin Wine Club Discount Redemption Card. This is a really generous offer from Virgin, and offers $100 off a Welcome Case which is valued at $207.88. It’s a great opportunity to sample different brands, especially if you are a bit of a wine lover.
