What I ate Wednesdays #2

Welcome
back to another edition of what I ate Wednesdays. If you’re new to this, I
document what I eat and drink on Wednesdays. In hindsight, I probably should
have picked another day to document as my diet is boring through the week!
Weekends are when I go out the most and try different foods so I might change
it up every now and then, just so you don’t get bored!

Anyway, let’s
get to it!

Once I get
to work I make a cup of tea (white, no sugar) and sip it while working. I normally
eat something around 9:30 but this time I work right through and eat a Luv Sum macadamia
and coconut protein ball around 10:30. It’s very chewy and I think I prefer the
regular protein ball. I also make another cup of tea.

Lunchtime
rolls around way too quickly, and I’m not feeling too hungry yet. I join some
work colleagues for a coffee and a catchup, where I order a freshly made chai
tea. It is so delicious and filling, so I feel satisfied for now. Unfortunately I didn’t take a photo of it so you’ll just have to use your imagination!

I ate a banana around 1:30, followed up by some salada biscuits and more tea. My day was really busy so I didn’t really have that much time to eat. After work I headed into the city to pick up some Christmas gifts, so needless to say I was starving once I got home.

Dinner was spaghetti with garlic, onion, anchovies and fresh herbs. It was so simple to make but so tasty, so it’s definitely a meal I’ll be making again. I also had a glass of red wine, yum!

I finished the day off with tea and a handful of these Fantastic Goodies rice crackers with sesame, poppy, sunflower and mustard seeds. I discovered these a couple of months ago and have been addicted ever since. They are full of salt and not that healthy but it’s my one indulgence!

So that ends todays documents of food and drink. It definitely wasn’t exciting that’s for sure! Let me know what you think in the comments below! What are your favourite snacks? Did you find this post boring? Tell me everything!
