awhile since I’ve put up an empties post, only because it’s rare for me to finish a product. I’ve decided to combine January and February
together as my empties list is pretty dismal; I definitely need to start using more of my products!
Anyway, here’s what I’ve emptied over the last couple of months!
Day Moisture. It’s no secret that I adore this range and credit it for clearing up my acne prone skin. I’ve gone through countless tubes of the Day Moisture and have recently run out
again. I’ve blogged about this moisturiser in the past, but just to recap, it’s incredibly gentle on the skin, eaily absorbed and leaves my skin feeling hydrated and plump. Even though it’s a day moisturiser, I use it both day and night,
layered under my Organic Spa Rosehip Oil
Definitely. I will be picking up another tube at my next beautician
Arbonne Perfecting Liquid Foundation SPF15+. This is a great buildable foundation that offers a mrdium to full coverage. It gives an incredibly natural finish, similar to a ‘no makeup’ makeup look. I’ve almost finished my bottle and while I love
this foundation, I wouldn’t mind trying out another brand. While there is nothing wrong with this foundation, I have worn it for the past four years and wouldn’t mind trying something a bit different. I’ve had my eye on
the Too Faced Born This Way foundation, and the Tarte Amazonian Clay
Foundation, both of which offer a fuller coverage, making it perfect for work.
Not at this stage.
Aveda Brilliance Hair Conditioner (not shown above). This is a beautifully scented conditioner that adds a brilliant shine to the hair. It’s a great product that worked well on my hair however it is quite expensive so I’m not sure I’d repurchase (I bought it from a makeup charity event at a really great price). I absolutely love Aveda hair products however I consider them a splurge and not something I’d treat myself to regularly.
Repurchase? Not at this stage. While I loved this conditioner, especially the scent, I will be looking for a cheaper alternative.
A’kin Pure Radiance Rosehip Oil Certified Organic. This sample size was included in my Bellabox awhile ago. Prior to this, I had never used an A’kin product. If all of their products are this good I will definitely look into trying more of the range out. Simply put, the A’kin Pure Radiance Rosehip Oil is the best rosehip oil I have ever used. The oil itself is very rich and feels so luxurious on the skin; after massaging it into my face each night, my skin was left glowing. It absorbed nicely and I even mixed a few drops into my foundation occasionally for added radiance. A’kin products are Australian made and owned and are cruelty free, so it’s also great to support locally made products.
Repurchase? Yes, although I will finish up my bottle of the Organic Spa Rosehip Oil before purchasing.
Thanks for reading this incredibly short empties post and let me know what products you’ve used up lately!
