Belle Botanicals – some exciting news!

Happy Sunday everyone! This is the first time all week I’ve been able to sit down and write a blog post. It has been the busiest week with work and to be honest, the most stressful. Sometimes I can feel like a robot, churning out report after report with no end in sight. I don’t handle stress well, and my anxiety flares up when I am stressed, which doesn’t make it any easier. I plan to put up some personal posts about anxiety and my experiences with it, so hopefully this is something that you’d be interested in reading about.

So I have some exciting news- I was recently selected to be a BB Girl by Belle Botanicals! Basically what this means is that I’ll work with Belle Botanicals to help promote their wonderful products. It’s especially nice because I use their products already so it’s a brand I can personally vouch for.

If you’re not familiar with Belle Bontanicals, they are an Australian based husband and wife duo who created Belle Botanicals as a way to provide quality skincare at an affordable price. Their products are botanical based and contain natural oils that help to nourish and hydrate the skin. Not to mention the owners are super nice and have always been so kind and helpful in our correspondence. I love using and supporting local brands, so I encourage you to check Belle Botanicals out and try some of their wonderful products; you will not be disappointed.

I was sent a lovely welcome pack to get me started. I will review these products in a separate post down the track, as I have only used them a couple of times. For now, I’ll provide a brief overview of the product and my initial thoughts!

Cream Cleanser Normal to Dry Skin*. This is a mild cleanser that removes grime from the face without stripping any of the natural oils. I used this at night to cleanse the skin and it removed all of my leftover makeup. The best part was, my face felt soft and hydrated afterwards.
Price: $8.95

Facial Scrub All Skin Types*. This scrub contains flecks of pumice stone to gently exfoliate the skin. I found the texture of the scrub to be a good balance between mild and abrasive. This scrub would be perfect for skin that is easily irritated, as it was nice and gentle.
Price: $12.95

Facial Moisturiser Normal Skin*. This is a lightweight moisturiser that leaves the skin hydrated and nourished. First off, this has the most beautiful scent due to its oil blend of rosewood, lavender, jasmine and rose. It absorbed easily into the skin and did not irritate my skin; WIN!
Price: $8.95

Body Lotion Passionfruit and Mango*. As expected, this smells so good! I found this body lotion to be lightweight and nourishing on my skin. Perfect for a daily body moisturiser.
Price: $8.95

Green Clay Mask*. This mask draws put impurities from the skin, leaving it smooth and silky. I used this on Friday night in my DIY home facial and I’m not sure if it’s the mask but the pimple on my chin seems to have decreased in size (big thumbs up!). I’ve also used the Dragons Blood Facial Mask which remains my all time favourite face mask (full review here).
Price: $15.95
