Wow it feels so long since I put a post up. I’ve got so many products to review but I honestly haven’t felt motivated until now! There’s been a fair bit happening which I’ll explain in my next post, but for now, let’s get to the Bellabox review!
April’s theme was Future Proof and included a really good mix of products. I’m sure you’ve all heard by now (or maybe not) that every member received a Colourpop lip product which was so exciting, especially for me as I hadn’t tried out any of their products. Anyway, keep reading to find out what else was included!
Colourpop Ultra Satin Lip. All Bellabox subscribers received a Colourpop lip product in their April box. I received the shade Double Tap; a light apricot shade. I initially thought that this shade would be sheer but boy was I wrong! It’s extremely pigmented; one swipe completely coated my lips with colour. I was really impressed by how intense the formula is, however I’m not sure if this shade works on my skin tone. Nonetheless, if you love intense colour, I’d highly recommend trying out this product. The longevity is really good too- I applied it this morning and it was still on my lips a few hours later (even after drinking and eating).
Prep Bod Prep Original Rice Scrub & Soak. This is a lovely little pouch filled with a super fine rice scrub. It can be used as both a bath soak and body exfoliater. I’m really looking forward to trying this out, especially because I’ve used rice based products in the past and loved the results.
E.L.F. Cosmetics Australia Sunkissed Glow Bronzer. I’ve used E.L.F. Cosmetics on and off over the last few years and find their products to be really good quality. This is a silky fine bronzer and has added Vitamin E for extra nourishment. I like how it’s not too dark and has fine shimmer; it will work well on my light skin.
La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo and Effaclar Duo Unifiant. It took me a while to work out what these products were. One is an untinted skin corrector and the other is a tinted version. I haven’t used La Roche Posay products before but I have heard great things about the brand, especially for sensitive or easily irritated skin.
Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser. I used this brand for years when I suffered from constant breakouts and it worked really well at cleansing my face without drying the skin out. This cleanser softens while cleansing and is also soap and fragrance free- perfect for problem skin.
Sample: The Body Shop Tea Tree 3-1 Wash.Scrub.Mask. The tea tree range from The Body Shop has a great reputation so I’m looking forward to trying this out. As the name suggests, it can be used in three ways and helps to keep the skin clear.
