When I think of Estee Lauder, thoughts of timeless beauty and ‘natural’ looking makeup come to mind. Over the years I’ve dabbled in some of their products such as the famous Double Wear Maximum Cover Foundation (which I purchased a few months ago) and more recently, some of their skincare and makeup products. Today I’ll be sharing with you some Estee Lauder products that I’ve received along with my thoughts and first impressions.
Resilience Lift Firming/Sculpting Face and Neck Creme with SPF15. This moisturiser lifts and firms the skin and reveals a younger, youthful look. Now that I am in my early 30s I gravitate towards products that help to smooth wrinkles and fine lines away. I will continue to use this little jar up and see if there are any noticeable differences.
Perfectly Clean Multi Action Foam Cleanser/Purifying Mask. This is part of Estee Lauder’s Perfectly Clean Collection which aims to calm, comfort and clarify the skin, thanks to botanicals and minerals used in the product. Although foam cleansers are typically targeted towards oiler skins, this particular cleanser is quite creamy and rich so it won’t dry the skin out. I will most likely save this cleanser for my upcoming holiday due to its compact size.
Advanced Night Repair. Synchronized Recovery Complex II. Ok, I have been wanting to this out this serum for years. Years. I guess the thing that put me off buying it was the chance that it might not work for me, and I’d be stuck with a full sized bottle. So it was a major plus to have a sample sized bottle included in this pack. So what is this serum about? Basically, it makes you look younger, and Estee Lauder have the facts to back that up. I did a bit of research and learnt that it helps to smooth, hydrate and create an even toned complexion. It also leaves skin radiant, youthful, fresh and well rested. I am hoping that it does all of this and more, especially because I am the sort of person who constantly looks tired. I’ve been applying a drop or two each night and patting it into the skin. It absorbs very quickly and I did notice that my skin looked calmer afterwards. I have been using it for around two nights so far so I will keep you updated with my progress!
Sumptuous Bold Volume Lifting Mascara. This mascara is part of Estee Lauder’s Sumptuous range and helps to add volume thanks to its lash thickening fibres. I am yet to try this mascara as I currently have an eye infection, however I will update this post once I have tried it out. There are a lot of mixed reviews out there for this mascara, so I’m curious to see if it’ll work for me. Also, I always prefer travel sized mascaras to full sized tubes, as I feel like the formula is better; does anyone else feel this way?
Pure Colour Long Wearing Lipsticks in Tiger Eye and Pink Parfait (shimmers). My two favourites from the collection. Tiger Eye is a frosted, bronze/gold shade and Pink Parfait is a frosted pink pearly shade. Both are quite pigmented with one swipe and extremely wearable. I wore Tiger Eye over the weekend and am so in love with how it translated onto my lips. Even though it looks quite shimmery at first glance, it coated my lips with just enough pigment. I will definitely purchase some more lipsticks from this range as the range is just so stunning.

After trying out these Estee Lauder products I am officially a fan. I must admit that I always thought of Estee Lauder as more of a mature brand, however this isn’t the case at all. Their products are really great quality and more importantly, wearable for women of all ages.
Have you tried any Estee Lauder products? What were your thoughts?
