Spa Face Exfoliant. Organic
Spa are a certified organic, Australian made and owned company based in NSW and have the most amazing skin products. My Clinique Exfoliating Scrub had
recently run out so I decided to try the Organic Spa Face Exfoliant. The majority of my skincare routine
is Organic Spa and I like the idea of using a complete range. This is a fantastic exfoliator, which is no surprise as all of the Organic Spa products I’ve used have been great. This creamy scrub contains grains of Luffa, Walnut and Rice Bran which helps to remove dead skin cells and reveal a brighter complexion. I find the formula to be gentle without feeling abrasive, and afterwards, my skin felt clean and fresh. I use only a small amount as
a little goes a long way, and it washes off really well too. This makes a great
exfoliator to use once or twice a week as it’s gentle on the skin. It also has
a really nice, ‘natural’ scent which I love to inhale when using!
Repurchase? Yes, although I do love the Clinique
range of exfoliators too so will most likely alternate between the two.
Hi Lift Cureplex Anti Ageing Colour Fade Defence Shampoo
and Conditioner. This is
a salon quality, sulphate and paraben-free hair care range that my hairdresser recommended. This range is specifically targeted towards colour treated hair and contains antioxidants to shield hair from UV damage. It also helps to promote a healthy scalp and hair and provide a brilliant shine to hair. I am really happy with these products. The shampoo did a great job of cleansing
my hair without making it feel dry, and my hair was left feeling clean and
light. I also found that my hair was quite shiny after use, which is always a good thing! I don’t normally use matching haircare so it was nice to use a shampoo and conditioner in conjunction with each other to receive the maximum benefit. I’d recommend these
products to those who are looking for a good quality, everyday shampoo and conditioner.
Repurchase? Not sure. While I love this range and
it works well on my hair, I do like to try other brands. My hair tends to get
used to certain products and I find products aren’t as effective after a
Nail Remover Wipes. First
off, how good is Daiso? I could wander those aisles forever, filling up my
basket with cute knick knacks that I don’t really need all that much. I came
across these wipes recently and they are a serious game changer! I don’t know
about you, but nail polish remover can be a bit of an inconvenience to use; you
need a tissue or cotton ball handy, it’s not a portable product to carry around
and it can be a bit messy to use. The Daiso wipes are individually wrapped and
each pack contains one wipe, which is enough to remove polish from both hands
(two may be needed for heavier coats or glitter). The formula is quite oily and
moist so your nails feel nourished after use, and it does a great job of
removing old polish. The only gripe is that some residue was left on the
nail, so if you apply another polish straight after it may turn streaky. I highly
recommend these wipes, especially for travel (I’ve already packed some for my
Repurchase? Yes, in a heartbeat. I’m planning to buy some back ups.
Essence Long Lasting blue pencil in Tu-Tu Tuoquoise. The
Essence range is affordable, good quality and boasts a large range of colours.
It’s a brand that I turn to if I’m after a trendy, quick fix product (ie don’t
want to fork out a ridiculous amount of $ for something I’ll use a handful of
times). I was in the market for a blue eyeliner after seeing a blogger wearing
it on her bottom lash line. The formula of this eyeliner is creamy, very easy
to blend and lasted well throughout the day. The colour itself is a lovely turquoise
shade and is quite subtle when applied.
Repurchase? No. I think this eyeliner will last me quite a
while, especially because it’s not a product I’ll be reaching for every day.
However, I will continue to buy other Essence items as they are great value for
This rounds up the products I bought and used in July! As you can see, I haven’t been buying all that much lately apart from the everyday essentials. My trip to America is coming up so I’m planning to pick up some products over there.
