BEAUTY EDIT: November 2017 Product Round Up

I know
everyone is saying this, but I really can’t believe it is December already. Where
on earth did the year go? Time flies way too fast for my liking, and all I can
do is hold on tightly and enjoy the ride.

Anyway,
with my impending trip coming up I have been trying to be good and not spend as
much. Which has worked, but instead of buying makeup I’ve replaced it with clothes so clearly I have a problem. I did manage to add some new beauty products to my collection during
November, so keep reading below to find out what they were!

Becca
Under Eye Brightening Corrector.
If you’ve seen my Instagram posts I’m sure you’ve
gathered that this is a new favourite of mine. It is everything an under eye
corrector should be, and it does a great job of brightening up the face
and making you look more awake overall. I’ve been reaching for it every single day and
cannot live without it anymore. Read my full review

Huda Faux
Filter Foundation
. I first tried this foundation after receiving a deluxe sized sample with a Sephora order. It made such an impression on me that I soon hightailed it to Sephora to pick up a full sized tube.
It is seriously the best full coverage foundation I have ever tried, and as someone who has tried probably hundreds of different foundations, that is saying something. The best part of this foundation is its coverage; it covers like no other yet manages to look completely natural. How does it do this?? You only need the tiniest smidge to properly cover your face, and the smallest amount covers better than a couple of pumps of regular foundation. I always end up applying too much; I think my brain cannot fathom how pigmented this foundation is. I was matched in-store to the shade ‘Toasted Coconut’ which suits my very light olive complexion perfectly.

Organic Spa
Intense Moisture
. I use Organic Spa skincare day and night and can credit it
to normalizing my acne prone skin. The Day Moisture is my regular moisturiser which
is absolutely amazing, but recently I felt like I needed something a bit more
hydrating so decided to try out the Intense Moisture. As the name suggests, it
offers deeper hydration and leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth. It has a
light lemongrass scent and absorbs really nicely into the skin. While it is a
lovely moisturiser, I will most likely go back to the Day Moisture as I love it just that bit more.

Organic Spa
Cream Mask
. I tried this mask when Organic Spa kindly gifted me some products
earlier this year and immediately fell in love with it. It’s a cream mask which
can either be used as a regular mask, or left on as an overnight treatment. I
have been applying this every single night over my regular moisturiser and my
skin has never looked so good. I finally have ‘dewy’ skin and I find applying
extra moisture helps with my breakouts too. I highly recommend this mask for
all skin types.

While I love trying out new products, these days I try to only purchase products that I know I’ll use. I think as we get older we know what works for our skin and anything that doesn’t is just a waste.

What were some of your favourite products in November?
