Blogmas Day #11 – Gift Guide for the Co Worker

Welcome to
Blogmas day 11! We are almost halfway through December (hard to believe isn’t
it?) and I feel like there’s still so much to do before Christmas. I thought I was prepared for Christmas but it turns out I’m not..there are still a few more gifts to purchase and things to plan for. And I thought I was doing so well!

Today’s
gift guide will focus on coworkers. I don’t know about you, but buying for colleagues is tough, especially if you don’t know the person that well. This year my department is having a generic Kris Kringle swap, which means that all gifts have to be suitable for both males and females (just to make it that bit harder). I have a feeling that all gifts will involve chocolate…

If you’re after some ideas on what to gift your work colleagues then just keep on reading!

Coffee Mug. Play
it safe with a cute coffee mug from Target, or go for a personalised one for the coworker with a sense of humour. Do you work in an Accounting firm? Try this one
Try to match the mug to the person.

Rubik’s Cube.
This is a game that never gets old, and is the perfect companion to an office
desk. Try this one from Kmart.

Movie
Tickets
. Going to the movies is a bit of a novelty now, especially because everyone
downloads everything these days. I’m sure your coworkers will appreciate the
chance to revisit a time when the only way to watch a new release was at the
good old cinemas with a box of popcorn and overpriced candy.

Stress Ball. We all know office environments can be stressful, so help to relieve a coworker’s tension by gifting them with a squishy ball. Perfect for releasing anger too, which makes for a happier, healthier work space!

A plant.
Plants are a great way to brighten up a work space. Try a real one that thrives indoors, or a fake plant to add a touch of greenery.

When all else fails, chocolates.

Do you struggle to gift coworkers too?
