December Bellabox

Hi everyone! Now that Blogmas is over I can get back into writing beauty related posts. I have so many product reviews coming up from brands such as Ere Perez, Yuva Skincare and MinaTan, so be sure to keep an eye out for those!

I received the December Bellabox a few weeks ago but haven’t had the chance to blog about it until now. It was pretty difficult juggling work, life, Christmas preparations and this blog throughout December (not to mention Blogmas) and there were some days when I just had no spare time left! But I love to be busy and jam pack a lot in my day so it worked out great for me. As a side note, I really loved Blogmas and writing daily updates. Let me know if you enjoyed reading them because I’d love to continue them!

So let’s get into the December Bellabox! It’s a no brainer Bellabox had a Christmas theme this month (Festive and Fabulous to be exact) and the products came housed in a cute red box to reflect the festive season.

Here’s what was included:

Stylondon Eyeshadow Palette. Bellabox allowed subscribers to select one of four shadows prior to the boxes shipping out. My choice was ‘Bond’, a selection of twelve brown/silver toned eyeshadows ranging in both matte and shimmer tones. Each shade is very soft with pretty good pigment; some shades are more pigmented than others. The palette itself is slim and compact and perfect for travelling and the handbag.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL Ultra-Light Tinted Fluid SPF30+. The Anthelios range from La Roche-Posay is the brand’s cult sunscreen and offers sun protection with a a light tint. I am yet to try this but considering it is Summer here in Australia I will definitely be reaching for this.

Dream Dots. There’s a myth that all Greeks reach for Windex for breakouts but I prefer something a bit more geared towards pimples! Dream Dots are little dot stickers designed to reduce breakouts overnight, thanks to a patented gel. What’s strange about Dream Dots is that there are no ingredients listed on the packaging so I decided to do some online sleuthing. After all, the last thing I or anyone wants is to make breakouts worse (and trust me, I’ve been there many, many times!). The dots contain patented hydrololloid technology, is formulated with safe, drug-free, non-irritating and non-drying ingredients. They are also vegan, latex-free and cruelty free. There is not much else information out there and it seems a lot of bloggers who’ve reviewed it aren’t sure of the exact ingredients as well. In the name of this blog I will try them out and let you know if they really do heal blemishes overnight. I’ve had a few breakouts this week due to overindulging so at least I have some material to work with!

Justice Professional Conditioning Shampoo and Repairing Conditioner. These travel sized shampoo and conditioner help to add shine, repair thanks to keratin protein and strengthen dry, brittle hair, and that’s just the shampoo! The conditioner helps to smooth, detangle and add vitality back into the hair thanks to ingredients such as jojoba oil, beet extract and corn starch amino acids. I will pack these for my USA trip as they are quite generous samples.

Sample size: Zuii Certified Organic Flora Foundation Primer. A sample sized package which will be perfect for travel.

Bonus: Colgate Proclinial C350 Toothbrush. As a thank you to their subscribers, Bellabox included a rechargeable sonic toothbrush! I was super stoked to receive as I’d been wanting an electric toothbrush for the longest time. I am yet to use this however I will post a review once I do.

What did you receive this month? Were you happy with it?
