BEAUTY EDIT: December 2017 Product Round Up

With the preparation around Christmas and New Years I totally neglected to
post December’s product round up. I had to cast my mind back to what I used
during the month, which shows just how much of a whirlwind the month was.
Because of my upcoming USA trip I’ve tried really hard not to buy too much new
makeup, but I was lucky enough to be gifted some new makeup goodies from
friends and family for Christmas.

Keep reading to see what products I used during December!

Huda Beauty Lip Kit. If you are a long time reader of
this blog or follow me on Instagram, you’re probably tired of me flaunting this
little tin around! It was gifted to me as a KK gift and was one of my favourite gifts of the season. The kit is comprised of a a lip contour pencil, mini liquid lipstick and mini lip gloss, all housed in the cutest lip shaped tin. Out of the three products my favourite is definitely the lip contour pencil which is in the shade Muse, a beautiful pink/mauve shade. I’ve been filling in my lips with this pencil and applying a dark nude lipstick over the top and it seriously lasts for hours. It gives the perfect pouty, nude lip which I love.

Maybelline Baby Lips Sport. Lip balm and I go a long
way back and on the rare occasion I ever find myself without it panic sets in.
After running out of my MooGoo Lip Balm and Palmer’s Lip Balm I decided to try
something completely new. I have used Maybelline’s Baby Lips range previously
and liked it so decided to pick up their newest ‘Sport’ version. It comes in a
twist up stick formula and is actually really decent. I do find I have to
reapply it frequently as the formula isn’t as waxy as others I’ve used. For a
chemist product it is good though, and I am likely to repurchase it.

Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel. Would you believe this is
my first full sized body wash from Lush? It smells like a sugary mess and
leaves my skin so soft. I’m officially a convert now and will definitely be
purchasing more shower gels from now on.

Maybelline Brow Tattoo. After my Eye of Horus and Gimme
Brow eyebrow products had run out, I decided I’d like something a little more
permanent. The Maybelline Brow Tattoo is a semi-permanent eyebrow dye that
lasts for up to 3 days. I was a bit hesitant to apply this in fear I’d end up
with caterpillar eyebrows but I needn’t have worried. It left my eyebrows with
a slight tint and just the right amount of drama which is exactly what I
wanted. I used the darkest shade as my eyebrows are almost black and it matched perfectly. It’s a great innovative product to use for a DIY eyebrow tint.

Too Faced
Christmas Cracker
This was part of Too Faced’s Christmas sets and
contains a deluxe Better Than Sex Mascara, deluxe Shadow Insurance Eye Shadow Primer, mini deluxe Melted Lipstick in Fig and
a Too Faced pin. I’ve tried all three products in the past and love them; you just can’t beat the quality of Too Faced cosmetics. Plus I adore mini sized products which always come in handy whilst travelling.

That rounds up my December products! I will have many more products in next month’s post so keep an eye out for that!

Have you tried any of these products? Did you like/dislike them?
