Hi beauties! I’m currently in Las Vegas, and almost at the end of my American adventure. Sin City is a strange, surreal and completely different place but we’ll save that for another day…

Today I’ll be sharing some of my makeup purchases made on this trip. To be honest, I haven’t bought much at all; I’ve made the conscious decision to only buy products that I know I’ll use. I also went armed with a small wishlist and I’m happy to say that I’ve stuck to it (well sort of anyway).

First up is the Park Ave Princess Amazonian Clay Waterproof Bronzer by Tarte. This is a pigmented, smooth bronzer with a beautiful sheen. I’m yet to test it out as my self tanner has completely faded away, so I’ll save this for when I arrive back home.

Next is the Huda Beauty Smokey Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette. This mini palette holds nine shadows; one foiled, four shimmers and four matte. The pigmentation is amazing; only the smallest amount is needed for the colour to show up. I’m really happy with this palette, although I didn’t expect it to be so small! It is teeny tiny although I prefer it that way as I’d never get through a large palette during my lifetime.

Sephora in the US are known for their value gift sets (although I’ve only come across a handful this time around), and the Sephora Favourites Skincare Routine: Dry Skin is one I picked up today. It contains five miniature samples of skincare products specifically designed for dry skin: Korres Greek Yoghurt Foaming Cream Cleanser, Origins Drink Up-Intensive, First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream, Josie Maran Pure Argan Oil and the Fresh Lip Treatment. I picked up this kit as my skin has been super dry during my trip, and my usual moisturiser just wasn’t hydrating enough. I used the Ultra Repair Cream by First Aid Beauty tonight and my skin felt so soft and smooth; I’ll keep you posted on the rest!

Essie nail polish is only $9 here in the US so I decided to buy the cult favourite shade, Mint Candy Apple, which is a pastel blue/green shade. It’s a great shade for the summertime and adds the perfect pop of colour.

That’s all of my beauty purchases so far! I don’t plan to purchase any more however I still have a few days left so we shall see… ; )

Have you made any new beauty purchases? Do you have any products you can recommend?
