Ere Perez is a beauty brand committed to creating clean, ethically conscious products. All of their products are cruelty free, vegan and made using high quality natural ingredients. They’ve recently had a makeover and in addition to
repackaging and reformulating, they’ve also released some new products. I was
lucky enough to sample some of their new releases, and today I will be reviewing them and sharing my thoughts.
This is a long post, so grab yourself a cup of tea and make yourself comfortable!
Chamomile Eye Palette in Pretty*. Ere Perez have released this palette in four different shade variations with a combination of both shimmer and matte shades. Each eyeshadow is made with chamomile, known for its soothing and calming properties and perfect for sensitive eyes. Each palette contains six shades and can be worn lightly for a daytime look or built up for the nighttime. The Pretty palette contains six vintage luxe shades and is comprised of four shimmer shades and two matte shades. Each shade is buttery soft and feels incredibly soothing against the eye area. The pigment is wonderful and a little goes a long way, which I was not expecting! I applied the shades using the Ere Perez Line & Blend brush which blended out the shades effortlessly. I’m super impressed with this palette and can definitely see myself reaching for it many times.
Rice Powder Blush & Bronzer in Roma*. This is a pressed blush and bronzer multitasking duo in universal shades to suit every complexion. It contains non-GMO rice for a smooth application, has a breathable formula and helps to absorb impurities. The shades help to warm the complexion and enhance natural beauty. It is the perfect multitasker (like so many of Ere Perez products) and works with the skin to enhance the natural complexion. Both the bronzer and blush are soft and finely milled and the pigment is wonderful; one dip of my brush picked up just the right amount of product. Speaking of brushes, I used the Ere Perez Blush & Bronze brush to apply both the blush and bronzer and the application was spot on; it did an amazing job of applying both powders evenly to my skin. The bronze shade is matte and I can imagine it would suit most complexions. The blush also has a matte finish and shows up as a beautiful rosy toned shade on the skin. I’ve really enjoyed this product and have been using it to warm my skin and enhance my tan.
Eighty-Five Nail Colour in Waltz*. Ere Perez have released their brand new range of nail varnishes in ten amazing shades. Each nail colour contains 85% of ingredients from vegetable origins that nails love. It also contains a unique strengthening formula made from green tea, cotton, potato, wood pulp and silica. Each shade is glossy, long wearing and protects the nails. I received the shade Waltz which is a true rose gold shade (I just can’t go past a rose gold). After testing it out, I can confirm that these nail polishes are amazing. The formula is smooth and applied evenly to my nails, with not clumping or streaks. The colour payoff is great and I found that 1 coat was enough (although 2 coats would make the colour show up to its full potential). I have my eye on the Indie shade next, which is a deep wine colour.
Line & Blend Brush*. Ere Perez have a full range of brushes to fulfil any makeup need. The Line and Blend brush is a cleverly designed two ended brush that contains vegan bristles and a corn resin handle, making it completely vegan. One end of the brush is to line the eyes or fill in eyebrows; the other fluffy end is to blend shadow or to blend out any harsh lines. I used this with the Chamomile Eye Palette and it worked beautifully. I find the slant end applies dark shadow perfectly to my lower lash line.
Blush & Bronze Brush*. This is a high quality face brush that contains vegan bristles and a biodegradable corn resin handle. Its sleek design ensure even distribution of powder to the face for a natural, beautiful look. Out of all of the face brushes I have tried, this one is a complete standout. It features soft, luxurious bristles and a heavy handle and definitely feels more expensive than it is. I’ve been applying the Rice Powder Blush and Bronzer with it and it picks up just the right amount of product.
It is no surprise that I love all of these Ere Perez products as I’ve been a huge fan for years. The standouts for me are the Chamomile Eye Palette and the Nail Colours and are products that I would buy with my own money in a heartbeat. I just love how Ere Perez products feel on my skin; it doesn’t feel like I’m wearing gunk. Instead, it feels clean, light and soothing and is perfect if your skin is easily irritated (just like mine).
Have you tried any of these Ere Perez products, or do you plan to?
