REVIEW: Juva Skincare

Juva Skincare is a Taiwan based skincare company whose products are inspired by nature and driven by science. Each product contains gentle ingredients to deliver effective skincare solutions with minimal effort. They’ve cleverly incorporated luxury and comfort into theit skincare products, allowing the customer to enjoy an escape whilst using the products. Juva Skincare also package their products in environmentally friendly glass bottles to maintain the quality of the product. Better yet, all products are fragrance free and not tested on animals.

The Juva Skincare collection contains three products to form part of an essential skincare routine. All three products can be used to address multiple skin concerns, revealing healthy and radiant skin. Their products can also be incorporated along with your usual skincare routine to strengthen the skin for absorption. This is perfect for those (like me) who want to continue using their current skincare products but are looking for something a bit extra. All of their products contain an ingredient called Fullerene, a scientifically proven antioxidant which helps to absorb and effectively reduce free radicals in the body. This can aid in skin conditions such as acne, wrinkles, uneven skin tone, sunspots and more.

I was lucky enough to sample all three of their skincare products: The Brightening Enhancer, Brightening Essence and Brightening Lotion. Juva Skincare recommends using all three products together for total effectiveness, along with incorporating these products into your current skincare routine. This was great news for me as I had no intention of using Juva Skincare exclusively; my skin tends to break out when introducing a whole new skincare range that is different to my usual products. At the moment I am using Organic Spa Skincare, along with the Ere Perez Face Nectar, and for the past few weeks I have incorporated Juva Skincare into this routine. Today I will be discussing my thoughts on Juva Skincare along with a review on the products.

The Brightening Enhancer* is an elixir containing fullerene, and restores skin to its natural, radiant glow. It leaves skin smooth and hydrated, and enhances the skin’s ability to absorb subsequent skincare products. It is similar to a toner in the sense that it comes in a spray bottle and coats the face with a light mist. I have been using
this on bare skin after washing my face each night and I have noticed a difference
to my skin. The texture of my skin appears smoother than usual and less red (especially where I have blemishes). It absorbs quickly and preps the skin for the next step of my skincare routine. I have not used this product on its own so I can’t comment on its effectiveness alone, however as part of the three step Juva Skincare it has left my skin radiant and bright.

The Brightening Essence* is a little vial of serum formulated with high concentrate of fullerene to rejuvenate the skin from within and leaving skin looking plump and hydrated. Each vial is meant to last 2 weeks however it lasted a lot longer for me (around 3-4 weeks). I have been patting around 2 drops into my skin each night and I have actually noticed a difference to my skin. My skin looks more alive and has a
radiance that wasn’t previously there. I personally found the Brightening Essence to be the most effective and will continue to use it as part of my skincare routine until both vials run out. I should also mention the packaging; it comes housed in a cute little glass bottle and you attach a rubber nozzle to the end for application. As well as being functional, I love how sleek and sophisticated it looked on my bathroom bench.

Lastly, the Brightening Lotion* is a lightweight moisturiser containing sunflower oil, shea butter, glycerin and fullerene that delivers long lasting hydration to the skin. Oil controlling antioxidants helps to keep shine at bay, leaving you with a healthy looking complexion. I have been using this after applying my Organic Spa moisturiser and it leaves my skin hydrated and very soft. It also does a great job of
mattifying my skin and absorbing excess oil. I have really enjoyed the light texture of this lotion as it does not feel heavy or masklike after application. Again, I have not used this product on its own so I can’t comment on the effectiveness alone however it has worked nicely alongside my current skincare routine. The packaging is also sleek and clean and the minimalism in me really appreciates it!

I am impressed with the Juva Skincare products that I’ve sampled and although I have no plans to switch over completely to Juva Skincare, I have found them to be a great addition to my current skincare routine. The standout product for me is definitely the Brightening Essence as I’ve noticed a visible difference to my skin after using it. This is a product I’d recommend if you are interested in trying out any product from the range, as it can easily be incorporated into your current routine. What I like most about Juva Skincare is how they can be used alongside other skincare products without compromising its effectiveness.

Have you tried any Juva Skincare products? What were your thoughts?
