REVIEW: The Nourished Box April 2018 Edition

After what felt like ages of waiting I finally received my April Nourished Box. I had no idea what would be inside as this was my first box (unless you count my sample box which you can read here), so I was super excited to see what would be included.

In case you aren’t familiar, Nourished Life is an online beauty and health store dedicated to all products toxin free and natural. They stock an abundance of brands and have everything from makeup to skincare, house cleaning products to haircare and more.

So let’s jump straight into it!

The first item I spotted was the Eco Aroma Women’s Blend Essential Oil blend. This oil can be used in the bath, in an oil burner or used as a massage oil. It is made up of a blend of oils including Cedarwood, Lavender, Geranium and Ylang Ylang and the result is a soothing and calming scent. I actually really love the smell of this and will most likely add it to my bath to soak in. I also love the fact that it’s made in Australia as I love to support local products.

Next up is a soft grey pouch with the words ‘Travel Light’ written across it, from the brand Salt & Glow. Inside the pouch are three sample sized products; the Salt & Glow Skin Souffle Moisturiser, the Salt & Glow Skin Mist in Rose and Cactus Toner and the Salt & Glow Awaken Coffee Bean Eye Serum

The Salt & Glow Skin Souffle Moisturiser is a nourishing moisturiser that aims to soothe and comfort the skin whilst uplifting the mood thanks to a unique blend of essential oils. It includes Kakadu Plum, Pomegranate Seeds, Olive Leaf, Sea Buckthorn Oil and Shea Butter to hydrate and repair the skin cells and to help with the ageing process. My first impressions after using this cream is that it’s beautifully scented, feels very soothing on the skin and left my skin feeling nourished. The texture is very light and soufflé like so it absorbs nicely into the skin. I will continue to use this on my skin and update you on the process.

The Salt & Glow Skin Mist in Rose is a refreshing spritz to help tone and hydrate the skin. It contains Bulgarian Rose Hydrosol, Aloe Vera, Witch Hazel, Pomegranate Seeds, Kakadu Plum and Sea Buckthorn to quench the skin and retain moisture throughout the day. It also works to keep the skin plump and youthful. I have used this alongside the Skin Souffle Moisturiser and my skin felt very soft and hydrated afterwards. I don’t usually use toner however I will continue to use this one and see if it makes a difference.

The Salt & Glow Awaken Coffee Bean Eye Serum aims to brighten the eye area while helping to reduce the signs of ageing. It contains Green Coffee Bean extract, Siberian Ginseng, Kakadu Plum, Pomegranate Seeds and Sea Buckthorn oil for a serum high in caffeine, antioxidants, vitamin C and fatty acids for a nourishing boost to the eye area. It also helps with wrinkles, fine lines, puffiness and dark circles. It comes in a little bottle with a roll on function to soothe and massage the eye area. I am absolutely loving this eye serum and love how cooling the roller ball feels against the skin. It leaves my under eye area feeling refreshed and nicely nourished. I will continue to use this each night and let you know if I notice a difference to my under eye area!

I am really happy with the April Nourished Box and I found the products to be good quality. Considering the Salt & Glow gift pack is worth $39.95 alone the box was well worth the cost of $25. I did expect there to be some additional samples however overall I am happy with the products I received. Salt & Glow is a brand I have seen across Instagram so it was nice to finally sample their lovely products.

Have you tried anything from Nourished Life? What were your thoughts?

xo Roxane.
