REVIEW: The Nourished Box June 2018 Edition

I came back from my trip to find June’s Nourished Life Deluxe Sample Box waiting for me, which was a nice surprise. This is my third Nourished Life box (you can read April and the Trial Deluxe box here in case you missed it) and I was super excited to find out what was inside, if only for the chance to feel like a beauty editor for a moment!

Here is what was included:

Elektra Magnesium Cream in Citrus. This cream is a unique blend of 15% potent, food grade magnesium chloride with natural butters and oils. It is suitable for all skin types and helps in healing skin eczema, psoriasis and dermatisis, can be used to relieve dry, itchy skin, as a deodorant and as a massage cream to aid stress, anxiety, cramps, spasms sore muscles and joints. Phew! I am so intrigued to try this cream, especially as a way to relieve sore muscles and aches. It has a really nice, earthy scent and left my skin nicely moisturised. I have taken magnesium in the past for muscle aches however this was in a digestible form so I am curious to use it in a cream form.

Life Basics Konjac Sponge in Green Clay. Life Basics is a range produced by Nourished Life and is committed to providing natural, organic and sustainable products at affordable prices. The Life Basics Konjac Sponge works to cleanse the skin of grime and daily make-up whilst gently removing dead skin cells at the same time. It is also PH neutral which means it alkalises the complexion by balancing the acidity of any impurities and oil on the skin. The sponges are also entirely biodegradable and can be placed in the garden or compost once finished which is amazing. I am super excited to try this sponge as I’ve never used anything quite like it before. The Green Clay sponge is targeted towards oily and combination skin which is perfect for me. I plan to start using this sponge every day and see if it makes a difference to my complexion. The fact that is is entirely biodegradable is great news, as I’ve been making more of an effort to waste less. I will report back with my thoughts!

Life Basis Makeup Blender Sponge in Pink. This is also from Nourished Life’s new range and is latex free, enviromentally friendly and recyclable. It features a two tear ended design which is to be used to apply makeup to both large and small areas on the face. It can be used both wet or dry and has a firm texture. I use brushes to apply makeup as I find them to be easier and convenient for me, however I know makeup sponges give amazing coverage so I plan to test this out.

Madara SOS Hydra Recharge Cream. This intense moisture-locking cream has been formulated for all skin types, especially dry, dehydrated types. It contains hyaluronic acid which helps to attract and retain moisture, Linseed extract to hydrate, is anti-inflammatory and softens the skin, and Northern Pearry, which is known for its antioxidant properties. It can also be used to protect against environment damage, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and leave skin looking radiant. I am really looking forward to trying this cream out as my skin tends to feel tight and dry during the colder months. It has a beautiful fresh scent, and absorbs nicely into the skin. Once I have used this a few times I will share my thoughts with you!

I am really happy with this month’s Nourished Life Deluxe Sample Box, and found that it included a great selection of products. I really love trying new products out and am always looking for the next best thing and this box provides exactly that. You also receive great value for month considering the price of each product in this box; well over the $25 I paid!

Have you tried anything from the Nourished Life Deluxe Sample Box? If so, what were your thoughts?
