Who doesn’t love a good pamper session?
I know I do, so when tlc body reached out to me and asked if I’d like to try out some of their products I jumped at the opportunity!
TLC body are a brand new Gold Coast based business specialising in handmade premium body scrubs, body batters and hair fragrances. The founder Carissa Dobrowolski created the range after experiencing skin reactions from other products (you can read more of her story here). The entire range is free from nasties, cruelty free and vegan. All products are handmade on the Gold Coast which is lovely; it makes the whole pampering session feel that bit more special.
I was sent the Body Polish, Scrub Dub Dub and their all new Lip Balm (which hasn’t been released yet!). When I opened up the box the first thing that struck me was the incredible scent. Imagine walking into a room filled with tropical flowers and lollies…that’s exactly what it smelled like!
So let’s dive into the products!
The Body Polish* in Kick Them To The Curb is a beautiful concoction of grapefruit, mandarin, peach, apple and paw paw that gently exfoliates the skin and leave it glistening! It has a damp formula that makes it super easy to apply; just grab a handful out of the package and scrub away! I really enjoyed using this scrub and loved the beautiful lingering scent left on my skin afterwards.

The Scrub a Dub Dub* in Kick Them To The Curb is a buttery exfoliator with ingredients such as grapefruit, mandarin, peach, apple and paw paw. The sticky formula means less wastage and a clean shower; win win situation! The standout feature of this amazing scrub is definitely the formula. It was super easy to scoop out the amount I needed without washing precious product down the drain. I really enjoyed using the Scrub a Dub Dub and loved how nourished my skin felt after use.

The Lip Balm* is so new that it hasn’t even been launched yet, nor does it have a label! It’s made up of a whole bunch of natural ingredients such as coconut oil, cocoa butter and shea butter to leave lips soft and smooth. It has a beautifully nourishing formula and tastes just like a big fruity cocktail, heavenly! I’ve been using this before bed each night and my lips feel so soft in the morning! Highly recommend this balm! tlc body will be adding it to their website soon so keep an eye out for that!
Overall I am a big fan of the tlc body range!
I really enjoyed using these products as part of my self care routine, especially when I felt my skin needed a boost.
Both scrubs worked so well at scrubbing away dry skin and leaving my skin feeling soft and nourished; I didn’t even need to apply moisturiser afterwards. Can we also talk about the scent of these scrubs…honestly out of this world amazing and easily the best smelling body scrubs I’ve ever used! I also love that they are locally made and handmade with love; I really appreciate when something is made with care. If you are looking to elevate your self care rituals I highly recommend trying out the tlc body range!
