Blogmas Day 7: Extravagant things I’d ask Santa for this year

Who doesn’t like to receive a gift on Christmas morning?

I do. Even though I don’t really need anything (and if I did I’d just buy it myself) but there is a small thrill in seeing a lovingly wrapped gift box under the tree with your name on it (even at 34. Ha ha).

The presents may have stopped a long time ago but if Santa were to bring anything my heart desired, here’s what I’d ask for.

Fendi Baguette. The 90s baguette has made a comeback and I want a piece of it. Ever since Carrie Bradshaw has her baguette stolen in a seedy New York street (I feel your pain sister) millions of women around the world wanted the cutely named, bread sounding tiny handbag that would never in a million years fit an iPhone plus into. At around 2k a pop they don’t come cheap but…just look at them!

Dyson Hair Wrap. There have been countless tutorials and reviews all over social media about this revolutionary hair tool and I’ve been won over. It’s quick, it’s effective and it doesn’t damage your hair…uh where do I signup? Oh that’s right, it’s $699. Sigh. Definitely one for the wishlist!

Isabelle Menin art piece. I’ve always loved art and in fact, a lot of my childhood was spent traipsing around galleries with my art loving dad. I’ve been coveting an Isabelle Menin piece for months now and am in love with her work…I’ve even decided where I’d put it in my house. It has a whimsical quality that speaks to me and just makes me feel happy.

La Mer Skincare. Every time I’m in David Jones I wander over to the La Mer counter, look at the prices and hightail it out of there pronto. It’s just so expensive. But, the range is meant to be amazing, especially after hearing jLo uses it (she who never ages). Please Santa, help preserve my skin and bring me some La Mer!

Tea at the Russian Tea Rooms in New York. Ok this one is super extravagant, especially since Santa would need to throw in a ticket to New York plus accomodation. But who doesn’t want be like like Queen B (Blair Warldorf that is) and have high tea at the sophisticated tea rooms? The decor screams luxury and it’s the perfect place to pull out all of your finest clothes and jewellery (lace and pearls for me. Speaking of which…

So that completes my extravagant and highly unlikely gift list!

So tell me, what are some of your dreamy wish list items?

Roxane.

Hmm it appears like your website ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it
up what I submitted and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog.
I too am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new to the whole thing.

Do you have any recommendations for beginner blog writers?
    I’d certainly appreciate it.
