If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen my collaboration with LaMav Organics. I shared some of my most used products from their range, so I thought I’d elaborate and write up a blog post!
A bit of background information on LaMav Organics; they are an Australian owned and made company who create results based skincare without compromising our health (you can read more here). All of their products are certified organic, vegan, against animal cruelty and free from a heap of nasty ingredients.
I’ve used LaMav Organics regularly for a few years now and absolutely love them. I received a few new products recently so today I’ll be sharing my thoughts and impressions with you.
Without further ado, let’s get to the products!
Organic BB Creme*. This is an anti ageing, skin correcting BB creme that provides great coverage and 24 hour hydration. It is suitable for all skin types and covers imperfections, well, perfectly! This is my second bottle and is hand down the best BB Creme I have ever used. It has just enough coverage to cover any flaws but doesn’t look too ‘done’, making it a great product for weekends and holidays. It blends into skin quickly and dries to a very natural finish; I’d say it’s more on the matte side but not in a dull way if that makes sense. I usually use either the shade Light or Medium depending on how tan I am. Highly recommend this product if you’re after a light yet decent coverage.
Organic Bio-Active Primer*. This ultra nourishing primer locks in moisture and provides an even base for foundation. It has soothing properties thanks to aloe vera and shea butter and helps to firm the skin. I must admit that I hardly wear primer, only for a big night out or when I need my makeup to last. My first impressions of this primer is that it absorbed nicely into the skin and I found my foundation applied better. It also smells really good! Once we are out of isolation and I’m wearing makeup regularly I’m looking forward to trying this out more.
Bio VA5 Wrinkle Smoothing Creme*. This is a concentrated day moisturiser that helps with skin elasticity and firmness. It also helps to improve the visible signs of ageing and leave skin looking youthful. I have actually used this product before and loved it, so I was super happy to have it again. It has a lovely thick texture and really helps to smooth the skin out; I noticed a big difference in my skin after using it consecutively.
Vitamin C Hand Creme*. This little tube is packed full of powerful ingredients. Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid and Shea Butter to soothe, regenerate and boost skin repair. It absorbs into the skin really nicely and leaves hands feeling very soft and smooth. It’s a great product to use during the current climate, what with the excessive hand washing and smells amazing too, just like citrus!
Omega-3 Advanced Night Repair Creme*. This is a powerful night cream targeted towards all skin types, particularly those with fine lines and dehydration. It helps to give the skin a smoother appearance and soften fine lines. I absolutely love this night cream, especially being in my 30’s. It truly does soften fine lines, and I noticed a difference in the fine lines around my eye area.
LaMav Organics are suitable for all skin types, and they have product lines targeted towards specific skin conditions ie: dryness, acne etc.
If you’re looking for quality skincare that is ethically made than I would highly recommend looking into LaMav Organics. I’ve just placed an order for a few more products so keep an eye out for an upcoming review!
