Springfields x A Beauty Wanderer

I love discovering new skincare lines and it was by chance that I found out about Springfields.

I had purchased Patchouli Essential Oil by Springfields from a healthcare shop and after using it in my homemade face oil recipe and posting about it on Instagram, Springfields reached out and asked if I’d like to try some of their products. They sent me a very generous package and after trialling the products for a few weeks I thought I’d share my thoughts with you all!

Before we get to that, I thought I’d explain a bit about Springfields and what they are about. So Springfields was created by John and Jillian Kerr, who had a passion in aromatherapy and believed people’s lives and wellbeing could be sustained by nature. The brand grew and expanded into body products, hair care and essential oils. All of their products are gentle on skin, against animal testing and Australian made and owned.

I love to support family grown and run businesses such Springfields and after sampling their products I am keen to purchase more as they were truly amazing.

So let’s get to the products!

Relaxation and Body Massage Oil with Sweet Almond Oil*. Omg this body oil is heavenly. It is infused with essential oils such as Patchouli, Lavender, Ylang Ylang, Sweet Orange and Geranium and feels super luxurious on the skin. I used it at night as a body moisturiser and it is honestly the most beautiful product. I suffer from dry itchy skin and with this oil I was not itchy in the slightest.

Sanctuary Essential Oil Blend*. This blend contains Lavender, Ylang Ylang, Orange, Patchouli and Getanium and is a perfect scent to help you relax and unwind! I like to diffuse about 4 drops during the day and even add a drop or two to my face moisturiser. If you like spicier scents this is an amazing one to try!

Facial Cleansing Gel*. This is a cleanser aimed at sensitive skin and removes makeup and grime from the skin. It contains cucumber extract which helps to soothe and cool the skin (perfect if you suffer from redness like I do). This felt really nice against my skin and I didn’t experience any irritation when using it. I like to keep this in my shower as it’s easy to dispense, thanks to the pump feature.

Gentle Bamboo Exfoliant*. This is a gentle exfoliator that helps to remove dull skin and improve the appearance of the skin. It contains many nourishing oils such as macadamia seed oil, jojoba seed oil and lavender to maintain healthy skin. Ok this exfoliator smells incredible! I use this a couple of times a week for a gentle scrub and it helps to smooth those areas that feel a bit rough. I really like this exfoliant.

Jojoba Oil*. This jojoba oil is cold pressed and is rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants and great to soothe, nourish and protect the skin. There are so many uses for jojoba oil. You can use it as a base for a skin/body oil, as a massage oil and even use it as a nourishing hair treatment. It’s a great way to extend your facial moisturisers; simply add a few drops of oil to your moisturiser and apply to skin! This is the way I use it and I also use it as a base to my homemade face oil.

Rejuvenating Rose Facial Cream*. This is a ultra nourishing face cream to help boost skin radiance. It contains organic essential oils, organic herbal extracts and tramella extract (which helps to maintain long term hydration). I am really loving this face cream. I usually apply this at night as it’s very nourishing and let it sink in overnight. It also smells like roses so that makes me love it that much more!

It’s no surprise that I loved all of these products from Springfields as they are right up my alley; aus made, natural and contain lovely essential oils. I plan to purchase some more of their products as I absolutely love their quality and ethics as a company.

Thank you to Springfields to the chance to collaborate!
