I’ve been using Ere Perez products for years and years, ever since a friend introduced me to the brand. What I love about them is that they’re organic, vegan and include plenty of ingredients that are safe for the skin. Ere Perez stock both makeup and skincare for all skin types and shades, so there really is something there for everyone.
I’ve been lucky enough over the years to receive PR from Ere Perez and they sent me 6 shades from their Olive Oil lipstick range to try* (please note this post was long overdue and sat in my drafts for months. So I’m happy to finally have it up).
Their Olive Oil lipstick range is vibrant, nourishing and include 14 party themed shades. Today I’ll be sharing swatches and reviews on six on the shades. I also did an unboxing in Instagram if you’d like to check that out (saved under Ere Perez in my bio page).
First I’ll start off with my three favourite shades from the range:
High Tea* is described as a dusty pink and that’s exactly what is it. It looks very natural on the lips and is the perfect neutral shade for all occasions. I’ve owned this shade before and wore it all the time to work as it’s a great everyday lipstick.
Carnivale* is a bright orange shade which sounds very scary but I promise it’s not. I mean, if I can wear it so can you. What I like about this shade is it has just the right amount of orange in it to make your face pop but in a totally natural way. If that makes sense. This is one of my favourite shades from the range.
Surprise* is described as a hot pink shade. While it’s definitely very bright, it is also super wearable and perfect for those who are scared by bright colours (ie me). This also makes your teeth look super white!
Picnic* is described as a soft peachy nude. This is a very pretty daytime shade if you have pale skin as it’s nice and subtle. I initially thought it would wash out my complexion out as I’m fair however it ended up working well!
Circus* is a true red shade. I normally steer away from red lipstick as I feel it doesn’t suit me however I actually really like this shade on. It’s very red however not so red that it’s scary, if you know what I mean. I can imagine this shade of red would suit most complexions.
Royal* is a deep berry shade. Out of the six shades, this was the most difficult to apply (however that may just be my lack of skill). It glided on smoothly and was very comfortable on the lips, however personally it wasn’t for me. This shade would look awesome on darker skin tones.
And here are swatches of all six shades:
The formula of these lipsticks is incredible. They are very pigmented yet still manage to feel super light on the lips. They also keep the lips nicely moisturised and don’t dry the lips out.
Have you tried any lipsticks from the Ere Perez Olive Oil lipstick range?
